Proven tips for faster beard growth?

Provjereni savjeti za ubrzan rast brade?

A thick beard has become a trend that many men cannot participate in. However, it is possible to get the maximum potential out of your beard with the right routine and innovative active ingredients that can stimulate the growth of a dormant beard.

BEARD GROWTH CYCLE

Beard growth, driven by male sex hormones, begins at puberty. Beard growth occurs in a cycle of four phases:

Phase 1 - Anagen phase or growth phase, in which most of the beard follicles are currently located. In this phase, the cells are actively dividing, so the hair is constantly growing and coming out of the follicle.

2nd phase - In the shortest, catagen or transition phase, which lasts approximately only 10 days, the hair follicles shrink and growth slows down. The root of the hair separates from the base of the follicle, but remains in the follicle until the hair reaches its final length.

Phase 3 - The telogen phase or resting phase lasts about 3 months. In this phase, the hair no longer grows, but it also does not fall out, and remains attached until a new hair begins to grow.

Phase 4 During the last, exogenous phase, the so-called shedding phase, which lasts approximately 2-5 months, new hairs begin to grow within the follicle, and the existing ones begin to fall out.

The density and arrangement of follicles are genetically determined and it is not possible to influence the shape of the beard and the arrangement of hairs with products. What we can influence is the health of the beard skin, the strengthening of the hair and the roots of the beard, which increases the speed of beard growth and increases the thickness and volume of the beard, which makes the beard more lush and dense.

WHY IS THE BEARD NOT GROWING?

Genetic influences

Genetics are the biggest factor in beard growth, appearance, and quality. They determine the density and number of follicles, their arrangement, as well as the quality of the hair and the speed of beard growth.

Age and hormones

Most men's beards start growing during puberty, usually between the ages of 13 and 16, under the influence of male sex hormones. The beard often starts growing first in the area above the upper lip, then develops on other parts of the lower jaw and cheeks. However, for some, this process starts later.

BEARD SKIN CARE

Micro-inflammation and irritation in the skin can cause problems at the hair root, which reduces the potential for strong beard hair growth. Micro-inflammation often occurs as a result of shaving. Inflammation of the skin around the follicle can weaken the root, resulting in the growth of thin and brittle beard hair.

Important for preventing and alleviating inflammatory skin conditions are antioxidants that work against cellular stress, neutralizing the effects of free radicals, then moisturizers (humectants) and ingredients that make the skin softer (emollients and occlusives) to bring and maintain optimal moisture levels into the skin.

When the skin is healthy, it makes sense to act on the hair root with active ingredients that promote the growth of healthy and strong beard hair.

MAKE YOUR BEARD STRONGER AND HEALTHIER

Research teams are constantly searching for innovative ingredients to meet the needs of a market that wants highly active ingredients, but of natural origin. One such innovative ingredient is adenosine. It is naturally found in our body and participates in many metabolic processes. Studies (1,2,3) have shown that its topical application affects the growth of thicker and stronger hair, as it stimulates the growth of keratinocytes that synthesize keratin - a protein important for the structure of hair.

Another important innovation is biotinoyl tripeptide-1 (4). This peptide is very important for the health of beard hair. It works by strengthening the hair at the root and thus delaying its premature loss or, in other words, prolonging the anagen or growth phase.

Microcirculation is important for the health of beard hair. If the essential nutrients do not reach it, the hair will grow, which is very fragile and too quickly transitions into the phase of shedding.

Antioxidants are extremely important for preventing micro-inflammation in the skin. Rough shaving is very often the cause of inflammation around the skin of the hair roots, which is accompanied by redness, itching and ingrown beard hairs. To prevent irritation, it is necessary to regularly care for the skin of the beard, and antioxidants help to relieve redness and support the skin to recover faster from inflammatory processes.

INCREASE YOUR BEARD'S POTENTIAL

The MNLY research team has created a collection for complete beard care. The products complement each other and provide complete beard care for every man. It took three years of development and testing to get products that we are completely satisfied with.

We often forget how important it is to keep our beard clean, which is why there is MNLY Beard growth shampoo , which works great with... MNLY Beard growth moisturizer & aftershave (MNLY Moisturizing cream and aftershave for growth and strengthening of the beard) which also has the function of soothing aftershave.

MNLY Beard growth shampoo which contains DHT blockers, plant extracts and antioxidants to target all aspects of growing a healthy and strong beard already in the cleansing step and prepare the beard for the active ingredients contained in the moisturizer and aftershave.

MNLY Beard growth moisturiser & aftershave uses adenosine, biotin (vitamin H) and peptides (biotinoyl tripeptide-1) whose function is to balance the growth phase and the hair loss phase, with the aim of prolonging the growth phase. Antioxidants help the skin fight against causes of cellular stress by neutralizing free radicals. Shea butter, glycerin, panthenol and allantoin take care of skin care and moisture, which together with antioxidants prevent micro-inflammation and irritation after shaving. In order for all of the above ingredients to have a better effect and reach the roots deeper, caffeine and ginkgo extract have been added to stimulate microcirculation around the follicle. Beard hair becomes thicker, which gives the appearance of a thicker beard, and by prolonging the growth phase, we enable the growth of more hair from the same follicle, resulting in greater beard volume.
