Houseplants you definitely won't kill

Kućne biljke koje sigurno nećete ubiti

Nothing enhances a space like plants, but they also require some attention. Do you want a "green" pet, but you don't have exactly green fingers? We may have a solution for you.
Are you a man and every plant you buy is doomed to a very short lifespan? Are you single and want to impress a potential girlfriend with how life in your apartment is possible? It's time to get organized and - buy plants that will be really hard to kill.

Why buy plants at all? There are many reasons; plants are a great decoration for your home because they add a relaxed atmosphere and are a nice addition of color and life, they purify the air, reduce stress, and they are also beautiful to take pictures of and show off.
But the problem with most plants is that they quickly wither, due to lack of sunlight, your attention, or simply because certain plants don't last long indoors. Whether you're a beginner or experienced with plants but want simpler varieties that are easier to maintain and look beautiful, then keep reading!

Philodendron

It is a houseplant that has darker green leaves with white spots and tolerates low light conditions well (although it naturally grows better with more light). It can be grown in water and later transplanted into a pot.

Golden creeper

A plant similar to philodendron, but with shinier and brighter green leaves that also have white spots. It will not dry out with a lack of light and grows extremely quickly, reaching up to two meters in height.

Succulents
They come in many shapes and sizes, meaning you're sure to find one or more that's right for you. They need to be kept on a window sill because they require a lot of light. They retain water in their leaves, stems, and roots, so they don't need to be watered as often.

Sansevieria
Besides its great looks, it is a plant that requires the least amount of care. Also known as mother-in-law's tongue, it has dark green mottled leaves that can grow up to 100 cm and is an excellent air purifier, making it the perfect plant for city living.

Dragon tree
It is a plant that is adapted to living indoors and is therefore the most common plant in apartments and houses. Dragon's claw does not like a lot of sun, which means it should be placed in a corner that does not have much light, and like Sansevieria, the plant is an excellent air purifier.

Jade tree
It is a popular plant that is native to South Africa. It is a small plant, with small green leaves that retain water and do not need to be watered often (only when the soil feels dry). Place it on a window so that you can enjoy the beautiful green leaves, but also the plant in the sun.

Ornamental asparagus
It looks like a very lush and "wild" plant that can survive in conditions with more or less sun. The only thing that matters is that it gets water when the soil feels dry and that's it!

Green lily
It is a fast-growing and lush plant, with long, light green leaves. Place it in any corner of the room that has good lighting, water it weekly, and you will have a friend who will beautify your space for years to come.
